8th Grade- What a great 9weeks!!! This Unit we will cover Balanced and Unbalanced forces. Students will learn between speed, velocity, and acceleration and demonstrate and calculate how forces change the speed or direction of an object's motion.

 

8th Grade- Continue to study chemical formulas and practice balancing chemical equations. The first video is a review of subscripts, coefficients and chemical formulas. Below the KHANACADEMY video is review on balancing chemical equations.

7th Grade- This week we will begin catastrophic events and their impact on the enviroment. Remember you may create a poster or a project to present on a catastrophic event to replace your lowest grade. ALL PROJECTS/POSTERS are due Monday, October 21, 2012. Have fun!!!

8th Grade: Please continue practicing how to balance chemical equations. Review "A Beginner's Guide to Balancing Equations". I know this is a hard concept, but you ALL are very smart and I know with practice you will pick-up how to balance equations.
